Have fun! I am now in my 5th consecutive series in SPCC (doing all classes) which I certainly never anticipated. Here on, we ended with quite a big collection of online bike games. You will learn some valuable multiclass skills (that are transferable to other series). Something to consider - pick at least one other car and race both for at least one season. For example, the MX is on the new tyre model but the Solstice is not.
#Best mx sim tracks how to
Higher IR drivers you mostly can be comfortable with as if they are series regulars know how to deal with multiclass traffic. Don't try and race them, it will end badly.īe wary of anyone who has not qualified, particularly Mustangs, as this could be a good sign that there will be a wreck coming up at T1. Against Mustang, give them plenty of room on technical tracks as they are a big car, and to avoid on-throttle oversteer they need to often take a wide entry to get through apex. Racing against Jetta, take into account that they will most likely blitz you on corner entry. You need to give lots of room for the Solstice if passing, they need the entire track to maintain momentum through turns, and what might be a minor inconvenience for the MX can be a significant penalty for the Solstice. When you start to identify some familiar aliens, make sure to check out what they do, when they do it, and how they manage multi-class traffic. You may find a surprising number of very fast MX drivers - don't let the 'rookie' nature of the series deceive you. Many L1 T1 wrecks are due to MX drivers either rear-ending Mustangs or passing them on inside but failing to consider what happens on corner exit. You may be able to beat other classes to T1 but it is often not worthwhile to do this unless you are able to allow the Mustangs to then pass you cleanly. If you are going to mostly race the MX here are some tips. Not uncommon still to have no Jetta in a race.

What you are likely to see is majority MX, then perhaps equal Mustang and Solstice, with Jetta often trailing in numbers. Regular multiple splits with active participation in all classes. In terms of participation, things have changed over the last several weeks due to world events. You do not need to ever change tyres for any of the races, just fuel. There will be a few races during the season that will require a pit stop - you will know because fuel limits will be enabled. The Jetta has no setup options - it is fixed. The Solstice has limited setup options, and getting one good set that you are comfortable with can be used on every track (camber and toe mainly). and it is worthwhile spending time to get good sets for individual tracks. The Mustang and MX have the most options for setups. This makes things tricky if you are in a Jetta and are trying to get by MX. Also, the Jetta and MX can pretty much run together depending on track, with the Jetta faster into corners due to FWD. This is usually only ovals/rovals, however really skilled Solstice drivers know how to extract absolutely everything out of the car and can be surprisingly quick (and often beat out inexperienced MX drivers). Having said that, some things to bear in mind (track dependent) are that occasionally the Solstice will be faster than the MX. The fastest class in order: Mustang, Jetta, MX, Solstice.
